Last night I had one of the most present and powerful dreams I've had in a long time, and that's saying something, because I dream HARD.
The narrative is long, but these are some of the things that happened:
Walking purposefully through new and unfamiliar territories, noting minutiae like a forensic scientist and saving the data sets into some giant ether-based spreadsheet not unlike Google Documents. In this lucid dream, I knew I was dreaming, and I was beyond certain that I would have access to this saved data when I woke - some observations were so choice that I knew I had to imprint it firmly enough to cross the dream threshold and be clear and available to me when I woke. In some of the saved data sets, notes about inclusions and exclusions.
In this dream, I conjured. Three times, twice with a friend ( an old roommate from college ), then once alone. The physiological sensation of my psychic/telekinetic powers at work was so palpable I even noted in the dream to remember the feeling for when I woke up. It's right between my eyes, right there on my third eye, swirling and swelling, resonating loud with a bell-like sound and swoosh, in a flip-flopping yin-yang motion, a disc of energy revving itself, tingling, burning but not hot. The accompanying visual was the creation of a giant maelstrom in the air, sucking in everything around it, the entire scene, maybe the whole world. My disc revved, and the maelstrom obeyed, faster and faster until I, too could feel the gravitational pull.
Then I took a deep breath, opened my eyes, then it stopped. I did this on 2 separate occasions with my old roommate. Then later in the dream, I tested it while I was by myself. It worked. I feel I have been granted access to something within myself that was always there, but that I haven't always been sure how to switch on.
